We woke this morning with high hopes of getting enough stem cells harvested to check out of the hospital and go home. The nurse rolled in this huge machine and started to prime it with blood. She hooked Charlotte up to it and the noise was a little intimidating for her. She eventually got used to it and was good to go. Our nurse was great. She was hoping and praying for a high extraction with us. She even sped up the blood flow in hopes to get more. After laying still for 2 hours, it was time to find out the results.
We needed 4.0 aka 4 million but only pulled 3.75! Ahhhhh so close! We got the bad news that we would have to stay one more night but would get another pass to leave for the day.
We are blessed to have family with a plane so we were able to take a quick trip home before getting back before 10.
Charlotte has been asking to see fireworks and as we landed, we were dodging them! Lol. We had great views!
We are ending this stay with a family sleep over in our small room! Tyler, Charlotte, Eleanor and I all together!! Love them!
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 KJV)
