May 24th 2015 we finished the first dose of chemo and are on to our second. Charlotte did exceptionally well considering we had to wake her every 2 hours to use the restroom. The day was a little tougher for her, she hasn’t had much of an appetite. She is drinking lots of milk, and at this point I am letting her have just about anything she feels like. Our poor baby deserves it!
For a couple of hours she had lots of energy and was playing and laughing. She was building things with LEGOs, blowing bubbles with her aunt Cate, and being pulled around the halls in a wagon by her uncle. I pray that at least once a day, her spirits are high and she finds excitement, in anything!
Tonight has been a little tougher. She has been more nauseated and doesn’t seem to be keeping much of anything down. Her tray of food just sits in front of her, as she lays there curled up, with heavy eyes. Please pray, pray every time you think of her, you can never pray too much. It’s heartbreaking to see my little one suffer, but I know He has bigger plans ahead.
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10
