Well, we are still at home. Charlotte’s platelet counts were only at 29 and we need them to be at 75 to start chemo.
While I was a little disappointed to postpone treatment, I’m grateful we get the chance to try and fatten our girl up a bit before we have to do this all over again.
Her choice of food right now is pepperoni pizza, strawberries, raspberries and bananas! I’m thinking the pizza will do some good!
As of now we have an appointment to start on Thursday. Pray all goes well and platelets continue rising.
Thank you!

Hi Jacqueline,
We may have met once or twice at Derek & Kim Ralls’. Derek is my son and a long-time friend of Tyler’s. In fact, Julia and I prayed for our sons together in a Mom’s in Touch group many years ago. Kim was the one who told me when Charlotte was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, and I have been praying for her and your family ever since. I appreciate that you and Tyler are drawing your strength not only from friends and family, but most of all from our Lord Jesus Christ. It is impossible to know why these things happen, but the most important thing is knowing that God loves all of you so much more than you can imagine and promises to be with you through it all. I will continue to lift Charlotte before our Father’s throne of grace, and the rest of you as well. May God give you courage, strength and much grace as you continue to trust him through every step of this journey. Blessings!
