Sorry for the lack of updates!

GOOD news: We haven’t had any fevers so have been able to hang out at home! It’s been nice to wake up in our own beds without the constant beeps of machines. She also hasn’t had any mouth sores this round!! Although she went days without eating, she has FINALLY had a little of her appetite return! This morning she asked for Tator Tot casserole. And while at first I was hesitant (because of the cream of mushroom) I decided what my sweet pea wants, she gets!! We found an organic version of it and my guilt faded away 😉

BAD news: What the doctors warned us of in the beginning has definitely kicked in. Our poor girl had not been able to keep ANYTHING down. Even with all three nausea meds, she has been miserable! In the past week, I don’t think I’ve ever cleaned up so much vomit in my life!! Because of this and the lack of food, Char is constantly losing weight and strength. Even walking is a struggle for her.

Tonight we were supposed to get a platelet transfusion but the transportation was switched from air to ground (not sure why) so we will be transfusing first thing in the morning.

Continue praying for fever less days, less/no nausea and an appetite!! We head to Portland for round 4 on Monday! If I don’t update before then, it’s because we are just having TOO MUCH FUN at home 🙂
